I have seen Roger Morelli a Myotherapist and Remedial Massasge Therapist at Knead Massage Brisbane for my carpal tunnel and chronic neck pain, three times now. It has been life changing. I was struggling with not only my job as an aircraft mechanic and studying part time at university, but everyday activities such as driving and using cutlery, with numb hands and shooting pain up and down my arms most of the time. Whilst it is not a nice relaxing massage, Roger’s use of low level laser, dry needling, expert remedial massage and corrective exercises have resulted in me being symptom free in 3 sessions. This has made such a difference in my life, to be able to drive, use cutlery, study and do my job without shooting nerve pain and no longer have numb hands, is amazing. Thank you so much Roger and the team at Knead Massage. Will definitely recommend to anyone with carpal tunnel or neck issues.
I’ve suffered from severe and chronic TMJ for years. Roger has been the only therapist that has been able to help me. Rogers approach of aggressive TMJ massage was transformative. I had a huge improvement after one session. I had been taking pain killers daily and since starting treatment with Roger I have not needed them. Roger’s techniques of massage, intense stretching and low level laser have reduced my symptoms dramatically. I highly recommend Roger from Knead massage. His approach is compassionate, practical, targeted and intense. The results are outstanding. I’m now having fortnightly appointments after only 4 sessions. My TMJ is now very mild and I’m feeling better than I have in years. Thank you Roger.
Roger Morelli has been fantastic treating me for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome with Myotherapy. The therapy involves dry needling, low level laser and remedial massage, it could be quite aggressive and a bit painful but the results are worth it. Before you consider surgery, go and see Roger.
I had been experiencing severe muscle tension, knots, bands, hypertrophy for 4+ years due to overuse of various postural & masticatory muscles around the face, jaw, neck and shoulders. I have been seeing Roger the Senior Myotherapist for about 7 months now, & it has been life changing, he combines various treatments and is highly attentive & focused on results. I feel his goal is to make himself redundant in your life. I’ve referred plenty of family and friends, if you experience any kind of muscular tension, book in. I’ve experienced way less swelling, less inflammation and have more understanding of why I experience the pain I do, to prevent it, and haven’t felt relief/release like it before this point. Don’t be fooled though it’s not always about a relaxing massage, if you need someone to get into those grizzly places for release, Rogers for you. Love his music playlist. Always leave with a smile on my face. Can’t thank Roger enough.
I had been limping around for 6 months, could not run or dance without extreme pain and even walking was starting to be a bit much. I found myself seeking an alternative treatment for Morton’s Neuroma and discovered myotherapist, Roger Morelli at Knead. If you are in the same situation I highly recommend you give his sessions a try. I was originally told by the GP that I had only two options- both with very low success rates… firstly, cortisone injections to dull the pain and if that doesnt work, nerve surgery with a high rate of nerve complications. Failing all this, literally accepting your new disability as a way of life. Thank goodness I sought help outside the square! After one session with Roger, I felt immediate improvement and after 3 sessions was dancing again in moderation and happily walking around on a daily basis with no limp. I now go when I can get to Brisbane, once a month or every couple of months and each time the condition has faded away further. Amazing! The dry and electro-needling treatment is not entirely pleasant, but the effects are long lasting and well worth a shot! Remembering to do the stretches he has taught me also helps a great deal. This has changed my fate and allowed me to continue to thrive! Thankyou so much Roger!

What do I love about Myotherapy?
Myotherapy empowers clients to address the cause of their problems – not just their symptoms. Myotherapy involves rigorous assessment, manual therapy and usually some level of corrective exercise to empower people to reduce their dysfunction themselves. Emphasising self-empowerment means that ultimately MYOTHERAPY is a cost effective approach to pain and physical dysfunction.
What do I love about massage?
I love that massage affects both our physical symptoms and our emotional well-being.
My therapist has helped me walk pain free, taken away headaches and shoulder tension as well as lifted me from the depths of despair.
This is what I love about massage and Myotherapy.
