I went to Knead for the first time today for a remedial massage. When I walked in Makira had already read my online medical history, she asked a series of follow up questions then got stuck into the massage. I had the 60 minutes and felt wonderful afterwards. Definitely going back.

What are my treatments like?
The aim of treatment is to relieve tension, decrease pain, and alleviate any stress you may be dealing with. I use specific assessment, to identify the cause of the issue, and then apply techniques such as muscle release, mfr, rigger point, stretching, and joint mobilisation to relieve pain and increase mobility I enjoy meeting and working with people from all walks of life, and believe that using both a thorough hands on approach and self-maintenance program (whatever that may mean for you) is the key. I can help with neck pain and headaches, shoulder pain, arm and wrist pain, low back pain, sports prep and recovery. I also provide pregnancy massage and enjoy supporting pregnant clients, it’s a pleasure to see the difference a good remedial massage can make.
What do I love about massage?
Having spent years being hyper aware of how well (or not) my body was moving, it’s amazing to see how much more freedom can be restored and discomfort relieved with massage. Since touch can be so beneficial both mentally and emotionally, as well as physically, it’s great to think that it can become part of someone’s all round support system.
