Who are We?We started in 2003 as Knead Workplace Massage providing massage to Corporate Clients. We opened our CBD clinic in mid 2008.We strive to provide a supportive environment for therapists. We know that starting a massage career can be both exciting and daunting, especially as you work to build your regular client base. What positions do you offer?Clinic PositionsTo work in the clinic you must have a minimum of Certificate 4 in Massage Therapy. We offer a range of massage styles and do not take people just on qualifications. The right attitude and work ethic is essentialClinic Positions - What we look for Every therapist is encouraged to bring their hands, hearts and minds to the table. In saying that there is still a basic structure that needs to be adhered to so that clients receive what they ask for. We don't rush appointments, you are given time between bookings and it is one full hour of massage. The clinic environment is about sharing and learning from other therapists and so you must have a commitment to continuously learn new things. Seated Chair Massage WorkWe employ therapists for regular work on the same day and at the same workplace every week. We also require therapists for casual, fill in and Conference and Event WorkTo be employed as a Seated Chair Massage Therapist you must go through our in house training program.What is the Training Program? The Training Program consists of In Depth Chair Massage Training. You will learn Why do we train our therapists? Chair massage training in most Massage Schools is minimal and an introduction at best. To be skilled in any area you need specific training in that modality. We want to employ people with consistent skills and knowledge and the only way to achieve this is to train therapists ourselves. You will be learning from people who have six years industry experience in this area. Is there a training fee? Yes there is. Training costs $225 and you receive a complete manual of your notes and everything we cover. You also go through the normal induction of Workplace Health and Safety. Why do I have to pay for Training? We charge for training for a few reasons. Firstly we are training you in a specific skill that has taken us time and money to learn. It also takes time to train effectively and if we don't charge anything and a therapist leaves in a short space of time we have wasted our time and money. If you have to make a financial investment then it demonstrates you have interest and commitment. If you do leave in a less that six month period at least we have been compensated for the effort we have contributed. Can I work off the Training Fee or pay it off over time? Yes you can. If you are interested in doing Casual Seated Massage work where we call you randomly for jobs you can pay a $75 deposit and then the rest of the training fee can be worked off as we offer you work. Conditions do apply so discuss this with us. If you wish to do regular Seated Chair Massage work we will train you and then you can pay the training fee off over a two month time period. We will only take on people for regular jobs who are prepared to make a six month commitment. If you can't do this then we are happy to train you for casual work. Can I get a Certificate in Seated Chair Massage? Yes we have an arrangement with For a $50 fee you can receive a Certificate in Seated Chair Massage from The Massage Academy. The Massage Academy is a Registered Training Organisation. Does the training allow me to get Public Liability Insurance? Yes if you go for the option of gaining the Certificate from TMA you can gain Public Liability Insurance through the

Chair Massage Training through the MTA normally costs $395 so this is a substantial discount off what you would normally pay for this level of training.
