Delivery Options

We can provide desk to desk massage in normal chairs or using a desktop unit, massage in ergonomic massage chairs or table massage for longer sessions.

No matter whether you are in a school, call centre or corporate office we have a massage delivery option that will suit your needs.

Ergonomic Massage Chair

This option provides full support for the body and allows the therapist access to the front and side as well as the back. An ergonomic chair supports the arms and legs.

Massage style: Relaxation to Remedial depending on therapist and needs/wants of the client.

Session options: 12 to 30 minutes.

Maximum number of hours per therapist in one session: 7

Minimum number of treatments per hour: 5 - this is 10 minutes of massage and 2 minutes or less to change over to the next person.

Best suited to: companies or workplaces that have space for the chair such as an empty office or meeting room. workplaces that are willing to provide a little more time for their staff. Worplaces that don't want more than 35 people massaged in a day.

Desktop unit

Desktop units are excellent for large businesses where you are trying to provide massage for a lot of staff, call centres or situations where it is not possible to set up an ergonomic massage chair.

Massage style: Relaxation to Deep Tissue. Desktop units sit on the side of the desk and the client leans onto the sternum pad and places their head in the adjustable face cradle, they then adjust the height of the chair as required. The advantage of these units is that the client's body does not move and it places them on an angle allowing the therapist to apply more pressure.

Session options: 6 minutes to 15 minutes

Maximum treatments per hour: 10 - this is about 5 minutes of massage and 2 minutes or less to move onto the next person.

Maximum number of hours per therapist in one session: 3 - 4 (a 4 hour session will require a 15 min unpaid break for the therapist.

Best suited to: large offices, call centres, places with limited options for staff to leave for a treatment.

Massage in a normal chair

Great for large offices, call centres, outdoor sporting or special events this is an easy way to deliver massage to a large amount of people.

Massage style: Relaxation - due to sitting upright it is difficult for the therapist to apply firmer pressure. As the person is not leaning against anything it also means that their body tends to move a little bit making it harder to do a firmer style of massage.

Session options: 5 to 10 minutes. For longer options we will use a desktop unit or ergonomic massage chair;

Maximum treatments per hour: 12 - this is about 4 minutes of massage and a minute or less to move onto the next person.

Maximum number of hours per therapist in one session: 3 - 4 (a 4 hour session will require a 15 min unpaid break for the therapist.

Whilst the massage is lighter it is actually quite tiring for therapists as they are unable to use their body weight into the massage as you can with a desktop unit or ergonomic massage chair.

Best suited to: large offices, factories, call centres, out door events.

When choosing a delivery option please think about the following

A massage session will include the following

  • Verbal screening of the client and signing the consent form
  • Any discussion needed about their particular wants or issues
  • The actual massage
  • Time needed for the next person to arrive

So a 10 minute session will not be all massage. As the session lengths get shorter more time is lost in either moving to a new person or waiting for staff to arrive. This is why the desk to desk massage is best for large offices as it cuts down the time we spend in waiting for staff to arrive for their treatment.
