Pathway to the Present

As I was growing up I always loved helping people and massage was something that was always present in my everyday life. Most of my family works in healthcare as physiotherapists, massage therapists or nurses so I was always exposed to alternative healing techniques from all over the world. I would have to say that I’ve learned the most from my aunt that was doing Reflexology 30 years ago and gaining her knowledge from monks in Nepal it was always something that I was really attracted to and wanted to learn more.

But the career path led me into finance. In 2010, I decided to change my career and pursue something I have always loved doing. Obtaining a certificate in the field of massage started my healing and life journey I’ve never could have dreamed of. From 2012 to 2015 I had successfully managed my own massage salon in Europe. My goal was to improve client's lifestyle on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. I have had numerous satisfied clients and I have always treated my clients with patience, respect and utmost care. In 2012 I had an opportunity to work on European veteran Handball championship in Ljubljana (Slovenia) with sportsmen where I expended my knowledge and achieved great results. In 2015 I accepted a challenge to move to Australia and continue working as massage therapist. In 2016 I received my Australian Diploma of Remedial Massage and since then I have expended my knowledge on different fields, including an opportunity to work with Redcliffe Dolphins Rugby Club. My passion is helping elite athletes and I had a pleasure to work with rugby players, soccer players, marathon runners and other athletes with great results. I'm currently still working with and supporting a top soccer player for Brisbane Roar.

I'm really passionate about my work and helping people in a holistic way so I’m always looking to expend my knowledge and upgrade my skills. The most important thing I’ve learned throughout my life and my career is that our bodies are intelligent and they have innate ability to communicate whatever is out of balance and they also have a remarkable ability to heal and repair as long as we give them the right environment to thrive.

What are your treatments like?

I’m a true believer that our bodies work on an emotional, physical and energetic level. When we are out of balance and in a state of dis-ease we truly need a holistic approach to healing.

This is why I love massage because our bodies are like a doorway to our inner world and they can tell us a lot about our physical, emotional and energetic state. By applying different techniques and listening to the body react we can find solutions to resolve the problems. I have a great sense of listening to your body and sensing where energy is stagnant and where the pain is residing so we can focus on the source of the problem, addressing both symptoms and underlying causes of pain.

In my treatments I provide different techniques and massage styles:

  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Relaxation Body Massage
  • Trigger Point Massage
  • Pregnancy Massage
  • Lymphatic Drainage Massage
  • Sports Massage
  • Reflexology Massage
  • Frozen Shoulder Massage
  • Tennis Elbow Massage
  • Hot Stone Massage
  • AromaTouch Technique
  • Shiatsu Massage
  • Sciatica Relief
  • Cupping

I believe knowledge equals empowerment and as a therapist I feel it is my responsibility to share my knowledge with people so they can empower themselves to live a healthier and pain free life on all levels.

What is Reflexology and how does it help?

Did you know that your feet reflect every organ in your body? Well they do and Reflexology supports their healthy function.

Reflexology is an ancient natural therapy that addresses pain and promotes healing and wellness throughout the whole body by applying pressure to related “reflex” points in the feet, hands, or ears. Each of these corresponds with an organ or part of your body. There are 86 main reflex points on each of your feet. When a part of your body is unbalanced or diseased, crystalline or granular deposits may build-up at the corresponding reflex point on your foot. These points may feel tender, sore or painful to touch. By gently stimulating and applying pressure to these points, it helps to reduce the congestion or blockages in the affected areas of your body, as well as stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system.

What do I love about massage?

I love massage because our bodies are like a doorway to our inner world and they can tell us a lot about our physical, emotional and energetic state and by applying different techniques and listening to the body react we can find solutions to resolve the problems. Helping people is my passion and when I see improvement in client’s life it gives me immense pleasure to continue doing what I love doing anyway. Finding the source of pain and working with clients to realise it and supporting them in changing their health goals so they can truly thrive is why I love the work that I do.
