Pathway to the Present
I started my Journey not knowing what I wanted to do or where I wanted to work, all I knew is that I wanted to improve people’s quality of life. Maintaining high levels of physical activity has always been a priority for me and can understand the fear and frustration of that persistent niggle. This led me to enrol in Diploma of Remedial Massage and Adv Dip of Myotherapy. I have used these courses to begin studying my Bachelors of Exercise Physiology to further my understanding of human movement and improve my abilities to increase clients function and reduce their pain.
Treatments with Les! What to expect.
I endeavour to make every treatment meaningful and positive and will, to the best of my ability, treat and assess clients to ensure we reach your goals and desired outcomes.
Your initial treatment will involve assessment to ascertain what your goals are and what the best treatment option will be. Depending on your goals and the assessment outcome a treatment could involve a combination of Myofascial release, Neuromuscular trigger point therapy/ Dry Needling, Joint mobilisations or corrective exercises along with Remedial Massage.
My preferred treatment protocol is to assess and treat the pain and symptoms on the first visit and then work on corrective exercise to help retrain muscle weakness and lengthen where needed.
What are my Goals?
Simple. To improve quality of life for all my clients! I believe that the best long term outcomes for clients are achieved by working together to firstly treat and decrease pain and get you moving well again, then to work together on the cause of the issues so you can take control of your own wellbeing.
I hope to see you soon!
