I have been fortunate enough to have grown up overseas, done some travelling abroad and worked in various roles. Over the last few years my family was struck with some very serious health issues, which made me realise I wanted to actively help and have a positive impact on people’s well being which brought me to massage therapy.
I have always been on the receiving end of massage treatments and wondered ‘what if?’ After a one day course I realised that not only did I love it, I was also re-energised which was a great bonus. Now I have completed my diploma of remedial massage and am very excited to use my knowledge and expertise to help people from all walks of life improve their overall well being.
I use a combination of relaxation, remedial, deep tissue and stretching techniques according to my individual client’s needs. I am also able to provide strengthening and conditioning advice to clients with muscle weaknesses or imbalances in order to maximise the benefits of ongoing treatments and enabling clients to achieve adequate functioning capacity and a reduction in risk of injury.
My massages would benefit a wide range of client types as my treatments are customised to individual needs. I have found I tend to attract more active clients, but I also treat clients that want a simple relaxing pampering session all the way to extremely active clients who have very specific needs that require a more targeted treatment. I often provide clients with at home advice which aims to maximise the outcome of treatments provided.
Since starting my massage journey I have realised how much of an impact I can have on people’s lives. Seeing the progression and improvements over time and the joy of clients when they can start doing activities they couldn’t do in a long time or achieve new goals makes me feel like I finally have a purpose in life.
Testimonials
I wasn’t sure if massage would provide effective relief for my patellofemoral pain.
I have been experiencing patellofemoral pain and had a couple of sessions with a physiotherapist. Those sessions did not provide the relief I was hoping for, so I decided to give Knead Massage a go.
I saw Sarah Bati, who is very personable which made the process as painless as possible. The massage combined with the do-at-home exercises recommended by Sarah, resulted in an almost-total disappearance of the patellofemoral pain I have been experiencing.
All staff at Knead are professional and the location of the clinic is also ideal as I work in the CBD. I am very happy with both the service and the results, which exceeded those I received from several sessions with my usual physiotherapist.
